Hareline's Crosscut Rabbit Strips are cut from Grade A rabbit hide and are considered to be the best quality rabbit strips on the market. These fly tying rabbit strips have been crosscut against the grain of the hide, allowing the hair to lay back after each wind to create a streamlined fly. These 1/8” strips are soft, full, and create an attractive movement in the water. Excellent for fresh and saltwater patterns in a wide range of sizes. Use them for zonkers, leeches, and a multitude of other patterns.

Crosscut Rabbit Strips

These crosscut rabbit strips have are very high quality. If you are picky with materials like me, you can trust Hareline crosscut rabbit strips to be good quality. I primarily use them for bonito bunnies and a few variations and can say rabbit fur is some of the easier material to work with, and results in the most seductive fly movement when in the water.

Best Crosscut Rabbit Strips!

For the price and the Hareline quality these are a great value. Pre-cut strips of rabbit fur give AMAZING movement in water and I've tied a lot of Zonkers already using them. They are used in 1 of my go-to streamers and I'll cut them up and use them on nymphs when I need rabbit fur for a pattern. Great stuff, equally cut and just overall soft as silk rabbit fur strips.
