The Gamakatsu B10S Stinger hook is a 1x strong wide gape stinger hook that is traditionally used for bass flies. Not only can you tie deer hair poppers and other surface flies with it, but you can also adapt traditional patterns on this hook for an extra bite into fish. It's also an excellent streamer hook. A Wooly Bugger tied on this hook will do much better on bass then tied on a trout hook. The B10S is 1x strong so it works awesome for larger fish species as well! These hooks are extremely sharp and made with the best materials and technology available.

PERFECT ARTICULATED STREAMER HOOK

I bought these hooks for doing articulated streamers and I love them. They are sturdy and EXTREMELY sharp so be careful when tying with them! If you tie articulated streamers these hooks are a must!

Best Hook For Bass Bugs & Streamers

These are the best hooks I've found for tying large streamers and bass bugs. Of the brands I've tied with Gamakatsu are the sharpest hooks out of the bag and the gap is perfect both for adding bulk and for hook-up type patterns like Clouser minnows and crayfish. These are the only hooks I will go out of my way to find. They make a nice short stinger for the back end of articulated streamers too. I use the 2/0 for smaller musky flies and they give a good hook set. Top notch!
