Hareline's Fishair is a 100% nylon synthetic hair fiber that is perfect for tying larger streamer patterns. This tough, soft, and flexible material is an excellent bucktail substitute and has a similar movement in the water. Fishair also has a beautiful sheen that creates a lifelike appearance mimicking that of baitfish. A great fly tying material with endless uses for both freshwater and saltwater patterns. There's nothing like it out there!

Love Me Some Fishair

A great product with long flowy synthetic fibers. This stuff holds up well and is easy to tie with. Perfect for many of my freshwater and saltwater streamer patterns. Highly recommend!

Great Buckail Substitute

Fishair has just the right amount of stiffness for clouser-type flies. I use the pink color to tie flies for pink salmon fresh out of the ocean. The fibers are straighter, longer, and more consistent than bucktail.

Excellent Hair For Longer Streamers

If your looking for a product to tie some longer, free flowing streamers, then Fishair is it! Great color selection too!
