Overton's Wonder Wax is a unique all-purpose fly tying dubbing wax that sticks only when and where you need it. Its composition has a magnetic adhesive effect on the thread and in turn eliminates the tackiness on your hands when properly used. The fly tyer's choice for better and longer lasting flies. Manufactured with the original ingredients, equipment and formula developed by Glenn Overton in the 1970s!

Premium dubbing wax for better and longer lasting flies

Directions: Lightly run thread between thumb and wax, or for best results use as a paint brush when thread is attached to hook. Wax should be level with top of container or 1/16 inch above the top edge.

Lasts almost a lifetime :)

Started tying years ago with a chunk of beeswax; switched to Overton's at least 25 years ago. Now have about 1/4" left in the original tube; just bought another and am now assured of a lifetime supply. I can't see any reason to use anything else; it's worth every cent.

I thought I was nuts to spend almost $15 for dubbing wax. But after using it, right off the bat I thought to myself, why the heck didn’t I buy this sooner. Dubbing sticks and dubs a fine noodle with minimal effort. Clean and doesn’t cause a sticky mess. I won't use any other dubbing wax after using this stuff. Highly recommended!
