The Stonfo Elite Disc Drag Bobbin is a high quality fly tying bobbin with quick adjusting disc-drag that allows for perfect thread tension. The tube has a very strong hardened steel bush to prevent fraying.

This machined bobbin has a hardened steel tip insert and countersunk feed that will allow thread to glide through the tube for threading and tying. The drag control has a large adjustment zone for fine tuning thread tension to your personal preference.

Pretty Much Perfect

I've tried many bobbins over the years, but I always come back to these trusty Stonfo bobbins. They're the perfect size for my hands and the disc-drag adjustment allows for some pretty serious control over the thread. Even though they're a little more money than the basic stuff, it's well worth it for the pure enjoyment I get out of them. Fly Artist always has these in stock and they provide the best service. A win-win for everyone! I recommend these to all of my buddies who tie flies and they all thank me for the advice.

BEST FLY TYING BOBBIN ON THE MARKET

I've tried just about every bobbin there is and these are darn near perfect. They feel great in the hand and the adjustable disc drag system is easy to use and gives you complete control when tying. I keep a number of these on hand to reduce the amount of thread changes I need to do. All have held up well over the years. Stonfo makes a superior product!

Great Adjustable Drag Bobbin!

The Stonfo elite bobbin is easy to thread, very sturdy, fits well in your hand, and is simple to change thread. The disc-drag system is easy to adjust and works effortlessly.The ceramic tip is well designed and is protected by the stainless steel barrel. By far the best adjustable bobbin that I have tried and just feels good in the hand.
