Hedron Saltwater Flashabou is a flash material that was specifically designed for the harshest environments. At 1/16" wide, this is the thickest and widest Flashabou that Hedron manufactures and it will stand up to the abuse of large freshwater and saltwater fish. Use it to create large profile flies, or add a few strands to each side of your streamers to get the attention of stubborn fish. Our customers will also use it for flashbacks on larger nymphs such as the copper john. Saltwater Flashabou is a versatile material that can be used for fly fishing, tying bucktails for pike and musky like the popular Double Cowgirl inline spinners, as well as large spinnerbait skirt material. Available in your choice of solid and pearl colors. Pick up a few colors and see how effective this material is in triggering fish!

Versatile Material

Says saltwater in the name and I mostly use it for my saltwater streamers but can be multipurpose. Really like the shine and works well on larger Copper Johns and other larger nymph flashback wing cases.

Great Pike & Musky Flashabou

This is my go-to flashabou for tying pike and musky flies as well as bucktails and spinnerbaits. I find the thicker strands tangle up less frequently than standard flashabou and it creates a larger profile in the water so the fish are able to spot it easily. This stuff holds up to a lot of abuse as I'm on the water most of the time throughout the year as a fishing guide. Highly recommend this version when targeting big predatory fish.
